It’s that time of year. Time to start putting on an extra layer or two when you head out for a run. We’ve been lucky so far with the weather as it hasn’t gotten too cold, but I know cold weather is just around the corner. In preparation for the cold, I have been adding quite a few items to my shopping cart on my favorite running gear site — www.newbalance.com, of course! Here’s what I have my eye on for this winter.
I can’t help from buying new tights every winter. I just love them. These are fleece lined, oh so soft and have a reflective NB logo on the leg, which is great for being seen at night. This pair has zippered cuffs and silicone grippers to help keep the tights in place. I love the zippers because it makes it easier to squeeze my feet through the opening.
I picked up this shirt when the JCrew gear was released, and I love it. The length is great and it makes a good baselayer or it can be worn on its own. I just can’t decide between the pink and the blue.
I think this jacket will work well as a warm layer while out on a run or just to throw on en route to the gym or even wear while running errands. I love the dropped hem as well as the zippered funnel neck.
Fleece lined — are you sensing a theme here? I love the kangaroo pocket, as well as the hood.
These tights look like they’ll be nice and cozy on cooler runs. I like the wide waistband, as well as the ruching at the ankles. The herringbone adds a nice touch and I love how they are grey instead of black.
I think this is more for kicking around or to throw on to and from the gym, but I love the neck on this pullover. It looks so cozy and comfy!
Because who doesn’t love a good pom pom hat?
Now it’s your turn. What have you been eyeing for winter workout/running gear?
