Hi there! So, it’s been two months since I last posted. Lots has been going on, but I haven’t felt much inspiration to write. I know you’ve missed me! When I’ve felt inspired, each time I sit down to write, I can’t seem to come up with the right words. I have some post ideas and hope to have them written soon. Until then, now that fall is in full swing, I thought I would share some of my favorite fall fashions — some of these I currently own and some I have been eyeing. This really is my favorite time of year — favorite season and favorite clothing!
I don’t think I have shopped at American Eagle since I was in my early twenties… So, only a couple of years ago! 😉 I saw this sweater in a Buzzfeed article and it looked so cozy — I ordered it the day I saw it and am wearing as I type up this post! I’ve paired it with a navy blouse, skinny jeans and tall, tan boots. It’s really comfy and I think it will become a staple this fall and winter.
I love the bright color of this skirt and I think it will pair nicely with a lot of items I already have, as well as neutrals. I also think it will go nicely with my favorite fall shoes (see below)! I have this on my wish list and may have to buy it soon. Bonus: it’s 20% off if you use your J Crew card!
Unfortunately, I don’t think these are available in stores such as TJ Maxx (which is where I found them) or Nordstrom Rack, but I am sure Sam Edelman designs a similar style of shoe each season, so if you can’t find these, you can find a similar pair. I consider leopard print a neutral, so I like to pair these with lots of outfits. They also look great with a pair of skinny jeans and a sweater.
Can you tell I am partial to Sam Edelman? I found these at TJ Maxx, but they didn’t have my size. I was determined to find them in my size, so I visited a couple TJ Maxx locations, as well as Nordstrom Rack. I found them in a few different colors, but still not in my size. I did end up finding them in black online at Nordstrom Rack. I cannot wait until they are delivered — I think the fringe is fun and I believe they will quickly become a wardrobe staple. I also love how you can cuff the boots if you’d like!
Can you tell I am partial to the red family? I don’t actually have a lot of red or crimson, but it is one of my favorite colors. I like this blouse because it is flowy, but not too baggy. The shirring dresses it up a bit and the keyhole closure in the back is a nice touch. I can see pairing this with a pair of black crops or jeans and boots. It’s also 40% off right now online (no code needed)!
Now it’s your turn — tell me some of your favorite fall fashion finds!
